Great hotel in the center of the shopping district. Minutes from Orchard Road and next to Far East Shopping Plaza. Hotel is old colonial style with very friendly staff. Excellent coffee shop near the lobby serving an English Style high tea every afternoon! Charming selection of shops with the hotel...ones sells an awesome range of cakes and cookies which are irresistable. Room service is excellent and reasonably priced for a 5 star hotel.
Can't think of anything bad...the porters even managed to get taxis in minutes at peak times, which in Singapore can often be difficult at the best of hotels. Oh yes, we travelled with our young son...take a ground floor room. The hotel is child friendly with highchairs and other equipment available. We will definitely use the Goddwood Park for our next visit.
